Great River Technology released the first ARINC 818 IP core for aerospace and military video applications. The IP core targets both Xilinx and Altera FPGAs and drastically reduces the effort of implementing an ARINC 818 interface into new applications.

Cohasset, Mass., Counts On Videolarm IP Ready Equipment and Volpe Industries Video Management Software For Surveillance of Municipal Utilities and Pub
The city of Cohasset, Mass., is increasing its city-wide monitoring and security infrastructure with a network video surveillance system powered by Videolarm IP Ready equipment, AXIS cameras and Volpe Industries DETEXI video management software. At the Cohasset Water Treatment Plant, Volpe Industries installed a combination of Videolarm IP Ready - outdoor environmental fixed dome housings and outdoor fusion dome enclosures combined with a variety of AXIS IP cameras. This hardware was deployed throughout the town at several remote locations including two water towers, three reservoir intake platforms and multiple water treatment plant locations.
